LGV [Large Goods Vehicle]

There are 3 categories of LGV:

	C1	- Up to 7.5 ton gross weight.
	C	- Any rigid vehicle above 7.5 ton gross weight.
	C+E	- Articualted vehicles with trailer.

Candidates must:

• be over 21,
• hold provissional LGV licence,
• pass an LGV theory test,
• have passed Category C and Category C+E (no time limit),

Candidates that have passed their car test after 1992 are limited to 3.5 ton gross.
